I've seen Mr. & Mrs Smith: if there wasn't any Pitt/Jolie involvment, I don't think I even would have remebered that I've seen it ;D The Island: learn how to fall from the 70th floor without any injuries lol, but the movie's not that bad.

I wanted to see The Island, mostly because Scarlett Johanssen and Ewan McGregor typically are involved with good films... but that got such bad reviews! I figured I would just wait and rent it. The last movie we went to see was the Skeleton Key. it was actually quite decent, and it really does have a good "twist" at the end that you would not expect!
christina: there is a Family Guy movie??

last night... I saw "The Machinist" with a very freakishly thin Christan Bale...
it was alright, it kind of has way too much hype as being the quintessential "dark, mysterious, wait-until-the-end" film, it's good nevertheless but you must try not to predict too much...

I saw Broken Flowers a while back. Bill Murray is quite amazing. But nothing matches Lost In Translation. And the fact that it was mentioned in the KCRW Show with Rachael makes it even better.

We watched "Lords of Dogtown" last night, and it was surprisingly good. A few people at work had said it was, so we got it from Netflix. Otherwise, I would never had thought of watching it at all

Lately I've seen:
Red Eye: moderate suspens, end totally ridiculous Must love dogs: the typical romantic movie, no surprises Corpse Bride: Really liked it, loved the esthetic of the movie Wallace and Gromit: the curse of the were wolf: Liked it too, cute and funny.

I want to see the Corpse Bride so badly, just haven't gotten around to it... I watched High Tension and Mysterious Skin over the weekend. Both were decent, but REALLY REALLY f'd up. Both of them. If you don't like messed up movies, don't watch them. LOL.

I really like horror movies... and I really liked "House of 1000 Corpses" a few years back, so I wanted to see "The Devil's Rejects" (sorta sequel to it). Nobody would go with me, so I went to see it by myself yesterday afternoon. I was semi-disappointed. It just wasn't as good as Corpses was. Not as clever. Ah well... c'mon. nobody? that is hard to believe.

by the way,mr. and mrs. smith was a waste of millions of dollars that could've been used for something worthwhile.instead,we have a crappy flick with a couple of good actors in it wasting their talent.only my opinion.hehe.

"Sid and Nancy" as a family movie? I sort of doubt that... although I have never watched it. My HS boyfriend was obsessed with Sid Vicious, so I'm sort of "anti-Sid". Mr & Mrs. Smith is bad, huh? Well, I will still have to watch it. I mean, you have to see what made Brangelina come about, right?
